I am a qualified bench joiner and worked for a high-end kitchen and bedroom company called John Lewis of Hungerford for 3.5 years in their despatch area. My role was ensuring orders were of a good quality and delivered timeously to customers. 

More recently I joined a delivery company which delivered John Lewis of Hungerford kitchens and bedrooms as well as other kitchen companies’ - such as Kuchenhaus. I managed the warehouse, including receiving and despatching deliveries, communicating with customers and suppliers and overseeing a team of drivers. 

In April 2022 myself and Alan started First Rate Logistics Limited, specialising in providing a white glove kitchen and bedroom deliveries.  We also manage one of our client’s storage warehouses taking in deliveries and arranging despatches.

I worked for a book distribution business for over 20 years managing the warehouse and staff ensuring timeous delivery to customers and receiving awards for this. This is where I first met Phil. 

In 2020 we reunited when I came to work for the transport business, he was managing. I worked as a delivery driver there for around 18 months before setting up our own business First Rate Logistics. We are very flexible and adaptable to our customers’ needs and have good strong working relationships with all our customers.
